Dandi Beach
There are two main beaches in Malvan. Dandi beach is just besides the main market road, Malvan port is also located on Dandi beach. Most of the fishing boats of malvan anchors here. Ganesh Mandir (Medha)
Relatively new temple near rock garden and chivla beach. Unique in terms of architecture. It also called Suvarna (Gold) Ganesh. Temple build by native historian, astrologer and founder of Kalnirnay, Mr. Jayant Salgavkar. Malvan Jetty
There are two ports near to each other. New port is much longer and access to deep water. Regular ferry services to sindhudurg fort. Also big fishing boats usually anchors this port. Malvan Market
Cultural capital of Malvani food and malvani culture. Main market road is starts from Bharad naka to malvan port corner. One minor market road is parallel with the main market road and small lanes connects both roads. Very old market active from Maratha empire era. Rocky patch in between dandi beach and chivla beach converted into garden. Recently they added musical fountain in it. They conduct fountain show every evening after sun set. Sindhudurg Fort
This tourist place in malvan is the most recognised place. Sindhudurg Fort is built by great maratha King Shri Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Just 1 km from malvan port. Boat service available from port. They often give 60 minutes to explore fort and take you back from fort to port. So many things available in fort to explore including temples and 3 sweet water wells. Guides are available on entrance of fort. This fort is in great condition unlike other forts.
